Most folks would never suspect that some of the best cafe style dining in Frederick is located in an office building. But I was visiting another Frederick.com sponsor with offices upstairs and he said: "Let's get a bite to eat at Nico's downstairs. It's the best food in Frederick."

Now, I make Nico's a sure stop whenever I'm in this section of town. By the way, they're easy to find on route 85 just south of the intersection at I-270. The Hampton Inn is next door (if you look close in the photo at right you'll see the reflection of the pond and gazebo at the Hampton Inn). 

By the way, after I took these photos -including the food shots below- I promptly sampled their Roast Beef on Kaiser, Club Sandwich and Portabella Mushroom Wrap. They were great! Especially the Club Sandwich.
